Cancellation & Refunds Policy

DesignUpForACause is a fundraiser conference and proceeds go to charities. All users are issued a pass against a donation. This is unlike our traditional conferences where people pay for a conference ticket. Users can also choose to donate for any amount without requesting a pass.

Since these are donations directly to charities, passes issued are neither refundable nor cancellable. However, a user may choose to transfer the passes to another person by notifying DesignUp via email: [email protected] – upto 24 hours before the start of the event.

UnitedWay is the collection partner for the campaign and the beneficiaries are Goonj: Covid 2021 Rahat Fund , O2 For You (Hemkunt Foundation), Aajeevika Bureau: Covid Relief Fund and Tribal Health Initiative.

DesignUp may verify & onboard, add or change charities & causes.

While oxygen and beds in the system are immediate needs, we believe that we should ensure that low-decibel, low-visibility but longer term needs and fixes are not forgotten. Especially to enable the underfunded communities in India's semi-urban and rural areas to be ready for future onslaught - a possible 3rd wave.

We also focused on fundraisers and causes where we can make material and meaningful contributions to. Our focus areas are socio-economic sustenance, livelihood and strengthen healthcare infrastructure - in areas neighbouring india's resource hungry cities.
